Kristine Helgason is an interdisciplinary arts major, focusing in mainly on abstract, small scale, mixed media painting. Her concept largely centers on poetic images of fleeting memories of events and places. Interiors, landscapes, and architecture play a major role. She spent a semester studying painting in Los Angeles in 2008 and that influence carries through her current work.
